Hitachi water dispensers are solidly built but they do develop faults over time — particularly in the UAE where the cooling system works considerably harder than in cooler climates. When the dispenser stops producing cold water, starts leaking, or loses water flow, it is almost always a specific component issue rather than the whole unit failing.
We carry replacement pumps (for bottom-loaders), heating elements, cooling thermostats, taps, needle valves, and internal tubing for the most common Hitachi models. After every repair, we run a flush and wipe-down of the unit as standard — so you get clean, safe drinking water back, not just a machine that technically works.

We Repair Every Day
No Water Coming Out of the Tap
Press the tap and nothing flows. In top-loaders this is often an airlock or a failed probe seal. In bottom-loading units it is more commonly a pump fault. We test the tap mechanism, pump function, and water path to find the exact block before doing anything.
Very Slow Water Flow
Water drips rather than flows properly. Usually a partially blocked needle valve, a weak pump in bottom-loading models, or a kinked internal line. We trace the full flow path from bottle to tap to find where the restriction is.
Cold Water Not Cold Enough
The cold water is lukewarm even after hours of running. Hitachi dispensers use a small compressor and thermostat for cooling — same principle as a mini fridge. Warm output usually means a low refrigerant charge, a failed thermostat, or a compressor running but not building proper pressure.
Hot Water Not Working or Not Hot Enough
No hot water from the hot tap, or it only reaches warm. Hitachi dispensers use a heating element with a thermostat in the hot tank. If the element has failed or the safety thermostat has tripped from overheating, the hot side stops. We test both before recommending a replacement.
Water Leaking from the Unit
Puddles under or around the dispenser. Could be a loose internal connection, a faulty tap that does not seal properly, a cracked drip tray, or in more serious cases a split tank. The visible water often does not originate where it appears — we trace it properly before jumping to conclusions.
Constant Gurgling or Bubbling Sounds
Some bubbling when a new bottle is placed on a top-loader is normal. But prolonged gurgling or vibration sounds usually means trapped air in the system, a loose fitting, or a pump partially struggling. We flush the system and check all connections and mounts.
Pump Failure (Bottom-Loading Models)
Bottom-loading dispensers rely on a pump to push water up from the bottle. When the pump fails, you get nothing from the taps or hear the pump trying but producing no flow. Pump replacement is one of the most common jobs we do and we stock pumps for most Hitachi models.
Unit Has No Power at All
Completely dead — no lights, no sounds. Check the socket and switch first. If those are fine, it is either a blown internal fuse (quick fix) or a failed power board. We test in order from simplest to most complex so you do not pay for a new board when the fuse was the problem.
